Appearance:
Amadi is a dark-skinned young man of Nigerian descent. He keeps his head shaved, and his eyes are a deep chocolate brown. Amadi is built like a linebacker - he's thick, both by birth and from years of working hard in the orchards of his agricultural district. He stands between 6'3" and 6'4", and weighs in at around 210 pounds. He has scars across his back from various Peacekeeper whippings.Personality:
Amadi is a mute. Many, when they meet him, believe he is simply the strong silent type, but in reality he can't speak whatsoever.History:
Most people think that, due to his size, Amadi is all brute strength. However, he also holds deep love for his family, and his intelligence is even slightly above average. When he's not out working (which isn't often, since he's the breadwinner of his family), Amadi is usually entertaining his younger sister, who is only nine.
Amadi's family is made up of himself, his father, mother, and little sister. The father of the family was paralyzed from the waist down after falling from one of the tallest trees in the district when Amadi was only thirteen. Needless to say, Amadi signs up for tesserae for each of them every year. His mother never fully recovered from the stress of her husband's paralysisCodeword: muttations
Amadi's sister, at nine years old, is Amadi's pride and joy. He cares for her almost more like a daughter than a sister, and is determined to make the most of what he has in order to make her life as easy as it can be. Amadi often goes as far as never letting her leave his sight in the orchards.
Amadi has been whipped often for stealing from the orchards to feed his family. During harvest season especially his back is raw, but this is okay with him, as long as his sister has something to eat.
