Her family is known for their stormy blue eyes. Their crest is a blue dragon on a black shield, thorny vines crawling up its sides and sprouting roses dark as blood. And they were named for the dragon — Leviathus.

She wears the name well on her sleeve. Like the majority of her family, Clair is a fearsome and seasoned Career, who exudes an aura of power and might. She is the quintessential Leviathus, dark haired, blue-eyed, once porcelain flesh hardened into steel by the years of training at the Academy.

She's a cold girl — full of ice and iron, no fire or warmth but just a little spot of softness buried deep within her chest. It is a secluded place, trapped beneath fathoms of stone walls, pillars of ice, thorns, daggers. She's a girl who lacks charisma and charm beneath her looks.

But she and her brother, Drayden, are a different brand of Career. The trainers-in-training, a group of specially taught teenagers to become fully-fledged trainers in the Academy, or possibly Peacekeepers, if they please, if they don't make it into the Games.

Her specialty is nearly everything, though she does lack in some areas. She is the leader of her Career pack, and one of the head trainers alongside Drayden. They're always butting heads, struggling for who's at the top, who's the real head trainer. For now, the two remain at an impasse.

Clair's vision is power. She still isn't sure where that will lead her — to the Games, to the trainers, to the Peacekeeper Academy. Whatever it is, she knows that she's ready for it.
