Horus Zontini
0339 | pup With Horus's mother's birthday being the next day, the boy wanted to do something nice for her. His siblings always seemed to be the better gift-givers, and he felt the need to step it up a bit. Not only was he going to get his mother a gift that meant something, but he was also going to take the time to get her some of her favorite flowers. It didn't take long for him to figure out which flowers were her favorite, as she often had some in a vase in the house, or planted out in the yard. She had always loved lilies, and luckily, they weren't too difficult to come across.
Horus had never really taken the time to go into a flower shop, so the day was quite different. The aroma of the flowers when he stepped inside was actually quite soothing, and the soft chime of the little bell that alerted the shopkeeper of his entry sounded sweet to his ears. He wasn't normally one to be easily calmed, but he was surprisingly relaxed that day. When he began to look around the shop, Horus examined the different flowers, trying to find lilies. As he looked around, he saw over a dozen different types of flowers from roses to tulips and anything in between.
Finally coming across the lilies he was looking for, he began to look at each individual bundle of flowers. He was determined to find the best quality ones, and the ones that looked like they would live the longest. Horus wanted healthy, beautiful flowers. He had always been the determined type, and even though this was a different sort of thing to be determined about, he still was.
The teenager picked up some of the flowers, looking them over, when he noticed someone else in the shop. Since he was in a surprisingly good mood just then, he decided to greet them. Albeit not all that formal, he gave a greeting to them nonetheless.
"Hey, how're you?" he asked the person working in the shop.
