[ T H E P L O T ]
In District Two, two powerful families are at war with each other - the Rathbones and the Salvatores. Despite both being wealthy and influential families, their vast differences cause them to quarrel with one another. They are split apart by two neighborhoods: Old Money and New Money, which are separated by a large lake. In fact, the Salvatores and the Rathbones' manors are directly across from each other, on opposite sides of the lake.
The Salvatores are from a long line of wealthy Careers, and are very established in their power and money, while the Rathbones are newer to the upper class. Because the Salvatores are such an established family, they have earned their money honestly through generations. On the other hand, the Rathbones have amounted their wealth in a less honorable way, through drugs and other illegal activity.
Due to this, the Salvatores look down on the Rathbones. They were raised to be more traditional and have proper etiquette; the Rathbones were not. While they are both rich and generally respectable families, the Salvatores refuse to accept the Rathbones as a part of the upper class. Over time, their rivalry has only grown - it was once between the parents, but now that the children have butted heads in the Career Academy, the conflict is much greater than before.

The heads of the Salvatore household could easily be described as snobbish. They have been raised to follow the traditions of the upper class, complete with all of the proper mannerisms and social standards. Naturally, the Salvatore parents have tried to pass this down to their children. Some of them have accepted this, while others fight against it.
The Salvatores consider themselves to be pure; they believe that they are quintessence of morality and that they are what everyone else should strive to be. Anyone who does not meet their high class standards is looked down on, especially the Rathbones.
There is one Salvatore child who does not fit in with the rest: one of the younger ones, a sixteen year old. They are actually a cousin to the Salvatores, but because their parents died when they were young, they were taken in by their aunt and uncle. Because the Salvatores greatly value bloodlines, this child is not treated as well by the Salvatore parents. However, they are accepted by their adopted siblings, for the most part.

The Rathbones have almost the exact opposite demeanor of the Salvatores. They are generally much more relaxed and couldn't care much for manners or being proper; they do not share the values of purity and traditional morality with the Salvatores. This is mostly because the Rathbone parents were not raised this way. They made their way to the top by engaging in illegal activities to make money - they did not come from riches at all.
Many of the Rathbone children have been made out to be scoundrels and scum by the other members of the upper class, namely the Salvatores. There are quite a bit of rumors about the Rathbones' reputation floating around, as they are a very elusive family who people don't seem to know much about. There are even rumors that the older children are involved with the parents' drug deals and ect, and the Rathbones have a reputation for being crude and crass. Although not all of this may be entirely true, most people don't really know what to believe about the Rathbones.
Unlike the Salvatores, the Rathbones do not have much regard for bloodlines. This is because they have adopted many children who are not at all related to them - another thing the Salvatores look down on them for. These children are just as accepted and loved as if they were blood relatives.

It is acceptable to have a non-Korean face claim only if you are playing an adopted sibling with no blood relation, however for blood-related siblings, you may only select a Korean face claim to play them.
