[attr="class","jorggradient1"]The pure artistry of it all, at such a young age, it is exciting to see that from someone like her. She creates beauty in death, pleasure out of pain, it is breathtaking to see such creativity in a realm that has been recreated for almost a century. She takes the old and revitalizes it in a way that even most viewers cannot comprehend. It is so fresh in a time where most of the fashion is just blatantly retrofitted from past eras. It is nice to see something new, and from someone so young like Zaya Reine. She is ushering in a new era for the Gamemakers, and with the new generation as well.

[attr="class","jorggradient1"] I am in awe mostly, when many of my contemporaries were at that age they didn’t possess the subtly flair that she holds. These Games were truly a masterpiece that many people will choose to remember for a very long time. These past Games goes beyond the deaths and the tributes, it goes beyond the fog covered Finale, it’s about the way that the tributes were affected by the situation. The way that some wounds weren’t allowed to heal, the way that the MediMutt turned from helping the tributes, into a killing machine, it is a shame that no one came across its path after that. That would have been great to see play out. I enjoyed the way the Arena slowly encroached on the children, like it itself was a tribute fighting for its own survival, fighting its own peace, like when the Granite Flat sent one of its Golems onto the Maye girl. Zaya was able to help breathe a life into what it usually treated as an unnecessary landscape, something that is just there to be seen. Zaya helped to make the Arena important again.

[attr="class","jorggradient1"] And none of these was screaming in your face, fighting for your attention. It played smoothly along, like it was meant to be all along, because it was. Much behind Zaya’s apparent beauty is a calculating mind that can has shown its prowess in not only creation, but in execution as well. Not only does she come up with these beautiful and chilling ideas, she knows how to play them out in just the right fashion for its situation, to create the right amount of fear and delusion in an already scarred mind. Seeing this gives me hope that younger generation can hold out on its own, and create something in the mess that we may have left behind.

[attr="class","jorggradient1"] I raise my glass of champagne as I re-watch these past Games, wathing the newest GM make her debut, granted in a collaborative manner. Maybe when she has more experience, she can strike one out on her own terms and truly let her artwork shine.
