wanderers, musicians, found family. names and backstories can be as creative as you'd like while taking the source material into account.

down in the dirty guts of district six there's an old house with music always coming out the broken windows, with unkempt teenagers streaming in and out the doors. the neighbors hate them and none of them even have the decency to get a real job. they're loud and they're crude and they're gross.

and nobody can tell why they're still around.


but they persist.

here's how it all came about:
several years ago, MURDOC accidentally? caused a dramatic injury to 2-D. the boy was left without a living, and MURDOC noticed his affinity for the piano and perhaps from pity or perhaps from sick fascination, ended up taking him in. to MURDOC's dead parents' home, which by that time had gotten quite run-down, as MURDOC claimed to not believe in paying people to do repairs. or doing them himself.
and for a while, that was it.
enter RUSSEL, a gang member who recently lost his entire gang. he was rather lost by himself for the first time. MURDOC found him drumming for tips and invited him in, something RUSSEL would come to regret agreeing to. MURDOC and 2-D spent nearly all their time arguing (though on 2-D's part, he was usually attempting to convince MURDOC they were on the same side.)
RUSSEL became their mediator. he was the one who fixed the broken heating so they'd all live through the winter, the one who bought the groceries, the one who brought in the income (neither of the others were sure where it came from. MURDOC didn't care and 2-D was afraid to ask.)
they lived like that for some

the major players:

• 2-D; "donovan "2-D" dare;" dallas alberti;played by gavin; he's not smart but he's happy.a pushover. hero-worships Murdoc.
• MURDOC;"firstname lastname;" fcfirst fclast; played by xxx; he's mean and he's rude and generally a terrible human being. thinks highly of himself. adored by 2-D despite how poorly MURDOC treats him. has a soft spot for NOODLE. somehow never gets karmic retribution for anything he's done.
• RUSSEL;"firstname lastname;" fcfirst fclast; played by xxx; the only real rational one of the entire bunch. not sure why he keeps hanging around with them but it's probably half duty and half affection. lost his entire group of friends in an incident and ended up with the gorillaz.
• NOODLE;"firstname lastname;" fcfirst fclast; played by xxx; the baby of the group. several years younger than the rest, they all see her as a little sister. could be played up or she could hate it, whatever the writer would prefer.

the optional players:

• Del;"firstname lastname; fcfirst fclast" played by xxx; in canon the ghost of Russel's best friend. obviously not usable in that sense, but maybe as a headmates situation or something?
