For a moment his smile grows too big for itself, lopsided and lost, because that woman reminds him of his mom on her best days. Or at least it's what he imagines her best days would be like, because it's been a long time since she's had any. The real truth of it is that he's a sucker for the dream. The District Ten Round-Up!

Come one; come all to a day of friendly competition and fun! The District Ten Round-Up, organized by Willow Ann Lexington, is a chance for cow-boys and cow-girls to show off their skills and showmanship.

District citizens are invited to compete in the following events throughout the day:

• Relay Racing
• Bull Riding
• Steer Roping
• Dressage

Don’t forget to bust out your gammy’s recipes! Folks of all ages are welcome to compete and sample pies from across the district, with a winner being selected by a panel of guest judges. Children and adults alike may participate in various activities such as face painting, puppet shows, and a petting zoo. A special potato carving contest will be held early in the morning, where the winner will be given a ceremonial ‘outlaw’ vest, making him or her Grand Cowpoke of the Round-Up!

*All event proceeds will go toward creating a fund set up to help district citizens that have been maimed or injured from livestock work.
