"I'm much more me when I'm with you"
Love is... different for everyone. For me, love is when I'm with Amara. Amara and I have known each other for years, and it didn't take us long to make ourselves a couple. She's perfect, in my eyes. We spend a lot of time together, and our wedding day is one of my best memories. I'm hoping that one day, perhaps we'll even adopt a child, or one of us could have one of our own. I'd get her opinion, of course. She's my everything.
Date night needed to happen more often. Usually, our 'date nights' were just relaxing at home together. I didn't mind that, of course. That was still something I quite enjoyed. I just think that it's nice to get out of the house with one another sometimes. It makes me feel relaxed, in a bit of a different way. Sometimes I needed that in my life.
I'd been allowed to chose the location of our date night tonight, and I knew just the place. Having headed right to the City Circle, I led us to a small, yet high-end restaurant. With our careers, we could afford it. Although, normally, we didn't go to very fancy places. We often tried not to flaunt our money too much. Though, tonight, I felt that it didn't matter. I wanted to treat my woman, as she's more special to me than anything else.
We entered the restaurant where I'd made our reservations, and were lead to a table out on a beautiful balcony, overlooking the gorgeous buildings of the Panem Capitol we call home. It was peaceful, and the one thing that I was hoping for was that it made Amara happy. I always wanted to make her happy. That was my goal, ever since I'd met her. The view was almost as stunning as she was.
I smiled kindly as my wife was seated across from me. I hoped that she was satisfied with what I'd chosen for our date tonight. Personally, I wouldn't have minded where Amara were to have chosen for a date. I'd just be happy to be with her. Regardless, though, I wanted to make tonight very special. It was our wedding anniversary, after all.
"What do you think? It's almost as stunning as you are," I told her with a smile.
