Teddy Ursa
There's a regret that lies deep in his bones. It chips away at who Teddy is and who he used to be, but all he can do is move on. Or in this case, let the thing move on it's own. He's never been on an elevator as he's learned what it is. A room that basically moves up and down floors to get someone to somewhere faster. All the years of running up and down hospital stairs seem useless now. There were elevators, just none that he's ever had the chance to use. A sigh escapes from his throat as he enters the elevator. A fellow tribute follows him, probably heading up to their floor to get some rest or do whatever they had to do.
He was going back up to plan for his private training session that would be happening sooner or later. He needed to have a plan to deal with that, but for now, he needed to get to his floor. Hand touches glass carefully as a finger print of his fingers smudges it. Eyes glued onto the glass as he stares out into nothingness. That is until it lurches to a halt. The light above cuts out for a second, but the shine of the sun enters through the windows still. All he can do is feel his heart pound as he looks over to the other tribute in the elevator with him.
There's a regret that lies in his bones, but there's a regret that lies upon that moment when the elevator stops. He should have never gotten on an elevator with a tribute that he didn't know. It just wasn't his lucky day. Every day was seeming to become unlucky like the day before. All he can do is shove a hand in his pocket and barely get out a few words to the other tribute with him.
"Looks like we're stuck here."
