The Delivery Word that finally lands in front of Adelaide Throes is the pinnacle of its species. Its soft feathers shine with health. Its eyes are bright and large, its beak dainty. When picked up, the Word coos coyly. There is no note attached but upon careful investigation, there is a lock of braided white blonde hair tied around its neck, almost the same shade as the Word's feathers.
