Ratmas

I'm new to the site and I'm not sure what exactly Ratmas is. Can someone explain it to me?

hiya dorian! welcome to hgrpg!

'ratmas' is our christmas celebration. i believe that in another series written by suzanne collins, 'gregor the overlander', the 'god' is a giant rat called ripred. it's a bit of a site tradition going back to when we first opened to use 'oh ripred' instead of 'oh god'. thus ratmas was born instead of christmas!

ratmas, on the site, is a site-wide event where the staff host competitions, treasure hunts, new announcements and a lulzy 'out of character games' - among many other things! everyone is divided into 4 houses and when you compete or take part in ratmas events you get points for your house. it's a load of fun and one of the best times of the year to be involved in our site.
