And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

Ella had always been the artistic type. She loved to draw and paint, as well as anything else she could think of to do that would express her creativity. Today, she was feeling particularly full of muse, and decided to head out to the park. She wore her winter coat, as well as a winter hat, but decided to opt out of wearing gloves, as they would interfere with her plan to draw. Perhaps she should have brought some with her, but she didn’t think that far ahead.
As she walked towards the park, the snow crunched underneath her feet. She liked that sound. It was almost relaxing to her. Ella had always hated the heat, too, so cold didn’t affect her all that much. When she arrived at the park, she cleared off a bench and sat down with her sketchbook and pencil in hand. The only problem was, there was nothing in nature today that she really wanted to draw. Most of it was dead and void of any leaves or flowers. Things were just lifeless around this time of year.
While Ella was sitting in her place, she saw very few people pass by. Perhaps is was because of the cold weather, and that the only people working today were those who had to work on the weekends, since it was a Sunday afternoon. Regardless, as Ella sat and watched, eventually, she saw the perfect person. She was the perfect model for Ella’s artwork.
“Excuse me? I have a question for you,” she said to the girl.
