Hello! Shreelot here to show you some of the REs we worked on that didn't wind up being utilized in our games. Enjoy!
Random Events
Honk if You Love Sin:The first tributes to engage in sexual intercourse will be abruptly disrupted by a loud honking noise. Startled, they look up to see a pair of Delivery Words flapping about above them, honking and generally making a ruckus. Eventually, the words will tire and land on either side of the tributes engaged in the act, allowing said tributes to claim them without a roll if they so choose.
"Someone call the burn center...":"...because you just got burned!" The first tribute who was verbally burned after the Bloodbath will find a parachute landing near their feet and 10ft of bandages inside "for that burn".
"Some sort of a P. Diddy-style shrimping vessel":The first all male alliance to reach the beach will find a run down boat that looks like it will barely stay afloat. But it still works, right? (it does)
"WILSONNNN":Walking through the dark glass that surrounds you is both enchanting and frightening. You aren't the only one to be captivated by the bright darkness; someone has crashed here before and a pile of rubbish lies against a foreboding dagger-like structure. The wreckage is there for your claiming; just watch your step.
The third group/tribute that enters the obsidian flows and has taken the improv station will find a pile of wreckage that conveniently looks like it can be made into a raft (raft can sit up to 4). If only there was also a volleyball.
Callienta's Revenge:Somewhere in the control center, a loud shriek erupts and tears fall down a certain dark-haired Gamemaker's face. The first tribute to make a permanent mark on the arena will see hellfire rain down on them, and they better start running fast.
The first tribute to make a mark after the Bloodbath will have to roll for fire. This Gamemaker's wrath extends to the tribute's friends (aka allies), so they will also have to roll for fire. If an immolation is rolled, the tribute will re-roll.
Ending:
It doesn't seem like the fire will ever end until somewhere in the control room, a wrestling match between two Gamemakers erupts.
"Callienta," Charlie Garnet says. "You cannot run a games and expect your arena to escape unharmed. Give me the controls."
"Nooooo, they ruined it!" Callienta yells back.
"Ladies, please." Amethyst sighs, shaking her head in exasperation before utterly deeming the conflict a lost cause. "Looks like I'll have to do this myself then," she mutters after a moment before taking the controls.
Did you koala me?:A gray haze in the distance draws your attention. It looks almost like fog, but the haze is too concentrated to be something natural. As you step closer toward the gray haze, it becomes more apparent that it is not a gray haze, but a koala cuddle pile. You spend your time admiring them--it is kinda cute--until you realize that you have lost time.
The 2nd tribute to post in the beach after the Koala you later! RE will be distracted by the koala cuddle pile that consists of all of the koalas that had run away in Koala you later! Because the tribute was distracted, they will go last in the turn order for the next day. However, they can also pick up a koala without rolling for trapping.
Koala-merationA fuzzy pile sits at the base of a block of obsidian. There is another group of koalas, huddling together for comfort and warmth. They seem to be lost without their owners, but maybe you can help them?
The 4th tribute to post in obsidian flows after the 2nd time of the Koala you later! RE will discover another koala cuddle pile! This group seems to be particularly attached, but the tribute has the option of pulling one out of the pile. The tribute will roll a dice of 1-10, with
1-2 success
3-8 fail
9-10 success
If the tribute successfully pulls out a koala, that tribute can decide which koala to pull.
Island Roll Mechanics
Below you can find all of the results of the Island Rolls that weren't triggered!
Unlockable Locations:Mound of Sand East (4/26 - 15%): This mound of sand is exactly as it looks: nothing but sand. But it does offer a nice resting place--unless you have to share it.
Mound of Sand West (4/26 - 15%): This mound of sand is exactly as it looks: nothing but sand. But it does offer a nice resting place--unless you have to share it.
Littoral Caverns (2/26 - 7%): You arrive in a littoral cave, the sunlight that comes in contrasting nicely with the shade against your back. Wandering further inwards you discover a babbling pond full of fresh water, clean and ready for you to drink.
Oasis (1/26 - 4%): Dehydrated and hot, you stumble upon a small island in the middle of your journey - palm trees sway overhead and the pond they surround provides much needed water.
Gem Cavern (1/26 - 4%): As the sun sets, you sail into what appears to be a cavern, but soon widens and grows into a glistening passageway,. Gemstones glitter all around you: Amethysts and Garnets, Quartzes and Sapphires. A pearl drops into your hands.
It's breathtaking, perhaps enough to distract from the subtle shaking of the waters around you as the ground erupts with a roar and a screech. (The first group to unlock the Gem Cavern must fight a Serpentine)
Alpha: Littoral Caverns Unlock
Bravo: Mound of Sand Unlock
Charlie: Gem Cavern Unlock - 1st Group to Unlock fights a Serpentine
Delta:
He's never going to give you up. He's never going to let you down. The only way to defeat this troll is if you kill him.
A troll emerges out of the water, coasting on a surfboard while...dancing? Distracted by this troll's sweet moves, you fail to notice his shirt is tucked into his pleated pants or the loafers that shouldn't be anywhere near the water. And is he singing? Make sure not to fall for his promises. After all, never is a very strong word.
Tributes must fight one stylishly-dressedand out of the wrong decade--or centuryrobot-troll. He's a tenacious one so he has 10 hp, but he's still a troll so he will be placed at the bottom of the turn order. He fights with his limbs (unarmed).
Echo:
Pocket Whales - You see them first, shadows that change the shade of the waters beneath you and you ready your weapons. But then emerges a pod of whales of all shapes and sizes, yawning and stretching in the sunlight. From around you flock a dozen pocket whales, cheeping and murmuring and racing with each other. The group stays with you for an hour before drifting back down to the ocean depths, but a few pocket whales decide to stick around.
The group gains four pocket whales: a Beluga Whale, a Blue Whale, a Killer Whale, and an Omura's Whale
Foxtrot: Mound of Sand Unlock
Golf: Mound of Sand Unlock
Hotel: Littoral Caverns Unlock
India:
Delivery Word - A bird lands on the side of your ship, poking around curiously and scuttling up to you, almost as a welcome. Attached to its leg is a rolled up packet of parchment and some ink.
You may use this Delivery Word once to send a message to anyone in the arena.
Juliett:
You pass a floating bottle amid the shifting tides, and move to examine it. There's not much you can discern, other than that the bottle is a dark green glass, there's a liquid inside, and there's a distinct decoration on the outside: a splotch of white paint depicting a skull and crossbones. Sounds tasty.
A tribute of the group's choosing may take this bottle.
Bottle Is Drunk:
If a tribute drinks the contents of a bottle found through the Romeo or Juliett RE, a dice roll [*dice=4] will be rolled to determine whether the tribute is poisoned or intoxicated.
Juliett
The liquid itself tastes pleasant enough; hints of lemon and raspberry with the distinct sharpness of alcohol (or, perhaps, poison?).
1 Intoxicated 2 Intoxicated 3 Intoxicated 4 Poisoned
Kilo: Tempest (Unlocked)
Lima:
Out of the depths of the ocean rises what looks to be glowing eyes on a troll-like face. Upon further inspection, one may find a small, robotic figure, gleaming silver in the sunlight. By all means it appears to be perfect - that is, of course, until it speaks.
For it seems that someone has apparently messed with the dialogue options on this troll, as it only seems to speak in puns, and the only way to halt its dialogue is to, ah, pun-ish it with weapons. It has 10 HP, attacks last in the turn order, and uses its arms as weapons (aka an unarmed roll)
(somewhere in the Control Room, Charlie Garnet glares daggers at her fellow blonde GM, who smirks smugly in response.)
Mike: Mound of Sand Unlock
November: Tempest (Unlocked)
Oscar: Oasis Unlock
Papa:You spy a tiny mound of sand with a lone plant as its occupant. Upon approaching, a yellow fruit with spikes and green leaves sprouting out of it sits in front of you. It looks edible but you should probably have a knife if you want to eat it.
The pineapple is edible and will count as two servings.
Quebec: Mound of Sand Unlock
Romeo:

There's not much you can discern, other than that the bottle is a dark green glass, there's a liquid inside, and there's a distinct decoration on the outside: a splotch of white paint depicting a skull and crossbones. Bottle Is Drunk:

Romeo
The liquid tastes indistinguishable from water, but the effects are anything but.
1 Poisoned 2 Poisoned 3 Poisoned 4 Intoxicated
Sierra:
Out of the depths of the ocean rises what looks to be glowing eyes on a troll-like face. Only after a moment do you realize that there's three sets of eyes staring at you, and they're all from bots. Except suddenly, one seems to short circuit and falls back into the water. Whoops.
Tributes must fight two robot-trolls, which are 5 HP each and will be placed at the bottom of turn order. They fight with their limbs (unarmed)
Tango: Mound of Sand
Uniform: Delivery Word
Victor:The sun is hot and shines brightly on your back, but for a moment it's blotted out by a shadow. Looking up, you see a parachute floating down from above, containing a portrait of Shelby Leviane and 1 N/T
Whiskey: Ironically, rum (unlocked)
X-Ray: Mound of Sand Unlock
Yankee: Delivery Word
Zulu: Mound of Sand Unlock
