The trainer had told him to learn more before going to him for help. Annoyed and tired of being turned away because he didn't understand the references that the trainer made to other tributes of the past. The Winchesters never watched the games. Avoidance was always what Ma and Pa had told him and his brothers to do. After all of it, none of them expected his name to be plucked up by destiny's hands and shouted upon a mic with excitement. None of them expected him to walk up with a smile upon his lips. Bitterness in his mind as he approaches the room that the trainer told him to walk to.
Lights flicker with the sound of metal clashing against metal. The sound rings in his ear as red comes across the screen that illuminates the room barely. The games is labeled as the seventy fifth across the bottom of the light that glows. People clashing with colorful weapons that clang together with a force that almost sounds beautiful in a twisted way. A grimace comes across his face as blood is seen coming from someone that he didn't know. A silence of his own thoughts coming forth as he stares at the screen. Moving further in the room, he can see some seats that are comfortable looking. Feet take him first as he moves to a spot and gazes up at the screen.
Intrigued and disgusted by the sight of the screen, he doesn't notice the other male that's nearby. A dark room illuminated by the light of the screen doesn't help his watchful eye as the sound of pain comes from the speakers that are attached to the film transferring him to the place, like he's standing among the fight watching in person. It's terrifyingly real to him, but he's not there. He knows this, just as much as he knows someone else is in the room with him. Eyes catch the male from District Two as he holds his breath for a moment. Fear for a second, until he lets the breath out and holds himself carefully.
"Interesting stuff happened in this games, I reckon?"
