Gordon is a tall kid. Standing at 6'4" he is one of the tallest in the district. He has dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and a rugged face. He has a slightly muscular build on him but not noticable enough to the point that everyone underestimates him. He wears decent clothing but sadly he can never get them to stay clean.
Gordon is the friendliest kid in the district. Growing up he always tried to bring a smile to someones day. Unknown to others he had a very intuitive eye. He could understand a persons personality and emotions just by looking at their face. So thats how he became friends with most of the district.
Gordon loved to run. Ever since he could walk he was outside running around the district learning how to be quick and agile. Whenever him and the friends he made were out in the grassier parts or the district he would callenge them to a race. Sometimes even the peacekeepers would have him do some running errands for them for a little extra cash. He'd even practice his speed by catching rabbits when he was bored.
He was a bit of a slacker when it came to school and housework. Because of his love to run his mother could never get him to sit still long enough to get him to clean, cook, or even chat. His schoolwork was around the C+ range on a good day. But the moment the school bell rang or his mother was done with his help he was out the doors hitting the pavement. What he lacked in class smarts he made up for in active smarts.
His two best friends were a small, short, little girl only 15 who goes by the name of Tianna and a boy, same age but average height, who goes by Jason (if these names are taken i can change them). He grew up with them his whole life. They were the only ones who could keep up with him. They would even challenge each other to do a race through the district and turn it into a parkour race to see who was the most agile and tough. But in his free time he would run outside the fence to challenge himself and clear his head. He was in love with Tianna ever since he saw her racing after him to learn his name but never had the courage to tell her.
Jason was his next door neighbor who was always looking up to Gordon wanting to be just as fast as him. His friends were everything to him. He would sacrifice his life in the hunger games if it meant they would be able to live on, which is why he loves to run. Gordon has always seen the games as a fun new challenge for him to try rather then an unfair system or ruling. Which is why in the next hunger games he plans to volunteer as tribute if he is not picked.
No one else in the district knows of his plan except for his two best friends. His single mother is a clothing maker. She hand made all of Gordons cloths and made sure all of his cloths were breathable so he could run better. He's always finding a reason to put his name into the drawing so he can be more likely to be picked. He sells the rabbits he catches to the peacekeepers and butchers in town for that extra money.
Once he joins the games he plans on fighting as best he can for his district and especially for Tianna who he plans on expressing his love for at the interviews. He plans on making an alliance with all of the nicer districts so that he doesnt have to brave it alone. He's going for this strategy because of his slight fear of losing his friends, or of even being alone. His only fear about entering the games is that his mom and friends wont approve of it and disown him for the rest of his life.
