Many contenders have been taken out from the games, many of whom he had thought would be Ronan and Leticia's biggest competitors. The boy from four who had muscles that reminded him of Kaiser Fray. The girl from Nine, just as fierce as Lux Pelotte. The Girl from One, something up her sleeve like Emberly Lowe. Many of his top choices for difficult tributes were crossed off the list. A hum in the back of his throat as he stares blankly at the screen where the bone elephant rises up in the middle to a dance of multiple shadows that look like different fights.
Memories of the giant chicken flooding back into his mind. Adelaide's worry at the markings on his skin. Kaiser's lust for the anger that had been in his stomach that wanted vengeance against Lorenza. The chicken had been way more useless than the bone elephant that crashes into tributes. A blankness in his eyes as he watches them. Ambrosia Sin attacked. Something in Teddy shattered at the hit, memories of Titus flood his vision, but he shakes them as Ambrosia is clearly more different. Worry sets in at the sight of Leticia. Ronan seems to step in and out in a moment's notice, which in turn makes Teddy bite the inside of his cheek in anxiousness.
Ambrosia didn't deserve this. Neither did Titus. All he could do was hold himself back from the screen and take a swig of wine to numb the feeling of remorse. Titus had saved his life. Molten rock would have taken him that day if Titus hadn't thrown his arm over his shoulder and helped him down. Part of him wishes Titus had left him there to burn. Burn in a fire of his own cowardice. Memories of seeing Titus in the evening sky fills his head as the room begins to feel hotter than before. The first death flashes across the screen as his pen scrapes against a tough competitor. Jessica Braun was dead. Saturn was interesting from an outside perspective. A career, but there was more to it from what he had seen the day before. A hum of notice comes from his throat as he stars Saturn Rhodon's name in his notebook.
Ronan's ally decides to switch up the fight now. Targeting Saturn, who had just taken out one of the only other careers left. Panic begins to build as Ronan immediately switches to him. A voice in the back of his head screams that it was the worst decision. Guilt fills his chest as he watches the feast continue. Many tributes getting beat up over and over with blood that he can remember feeling. Aurora Lachance kills Finley O'Hara, taking out four. Part of him worries for Annie, but the other part of him remembers how the games are. Death was going to happen and if he wanted to bring a Six home, he needed to stop worrying.
Almost immediately after, Saturn takes the moment to strike Aurora down. The sound of Ronan's scream echoing across the screen. Teddy's heart breaks for him, remembering how it was seeing Chester, Rory, and Rhetoric's faces in the sky. The heartache in his chest is slowed as he watches Damaris die. Names being crossed off one by one, their memories vanishing with the touch of a pen. Parson and Quest were still there, but the worst felt like it was already here.
Ambrosia's strike is the truest hit he's seen. The strike splits the skull of Leticia and splits the heart of Teddy Ursa in just a single strike. Titus' brother had killed his mentee. A promise to do what he could for them flashing in his head once again, breaking over and over again. Another family to go home to and tell them to never forget. Never forget their daughter, too young to have died this way. Tears fall from his eyes, but he's not broken the glass of his wine or drank an entire bottle. It's progress from the past, but he can't help but to hear the imaginary voices of Six in his head.

The hole inside his heart is deep with the murders of Serena, Vesper, Faline, and Leticia. Too young to be lost to this world. He's left with nothing more than Ronan Keeni-Einfallen, which annoys him, but he's only got one left. Aeson Kite might be a monster, but Ronan had some redeeming qualities deep down.

Leticia Neptune would just become another name to be chained to his skin of failures and blame. Tears wiped away, he pushes himself up and out of the room, ignoring the anger in Ronan's eyes as he cuts Saturn Rhodon. Moving gently across the room, he reaches for the phone and almost dares himself to dial it.
