Fashion is something that I've always been enthusiastic about throughout my life. Since joining All Caps, I've been able to report on it to make a living, and it's been glorious. It's the best job I've ever had, both when it comes to money and when it comes to the level of enjoyment I experience from it. Today, I get to do something that I've wanted to do for a very long time, too. I get to report on the tribute fashion in the Opening Ceremonies of the Hunger Games. This year is the year of the 82nd Annual Hunger Games, and the outfits that the stylists have put together for their tributes to wear are absolutely stunning. Now, it was time to share how I felt about these particular outfits with the rest of Panem.
The broadcast started as the Opening Ceremonies did, and applause and cheering could be heard from the people of the Capitol saw the tributes begin to emerge. I started off by introducing myself and what was going on so that those listening into the broadcast were up to date with absolutely everything.
"This is Olympia Li-Mei, fashion enthusiast and reporter, here with All Caps, live from the Opening Ceremonies of the 82nd Annual Hunger Games!" I paused for just a brief moment before I continued, reporting and detailing the ins and outs of the outfits that each tribute was dressed in as they passed by on their horse-drawn carriages to the applause and praise of the Capitol's people.
District Three came by.
"Industria Spark and Orion Starcrest of District Three, adorned in black and neon orange, bringing a stunning look for us all to see! Their neon shades and black outfits, donned with various accents in the same orange hue bring a brilliant outfit altogether!"
District Four was next.
"Harper Levesque and Elite Hops of District Four are the next to emerge with quite a beautiful theme! Harper, showing us all a pirate-esque outfit and Elite giving us all the appearance of a merman, including some beautiful body art! Props to their stylists!"
As each District passed by, I continued to describe their outfits as I had the others, even including the lower Districts. The life and death vibe of District Ten was stunning, and I loved the color choices for District Eleven, giving the theme of wheat and their industry of agriculture. Every single District continued to impress me, and it was damn near impossible to choose a favorite.
As the event came to a finish, I made my final announcements for the listeners of the All Caps broadcast.
"Now, those outfits were all absolutely stunning, and I want you, the listeners, to vote for your favorites!"
I explained to those who were listening how to vote in the online poll that had been posted, and the broadcast ended. Today was yet another successful day of work, and I was proud of what I'd given to the people of the Capitol. My work here was done for the day.
