{permission from cato to use daniel radcliffe}Blood surrounds him, cries of the dying echo through his mind with every step he takes while his eyes lock onto the face of his father wondering what to do next. The district is in shambles as the war rages on, and Johannes follows the orders of his father without a care in the world. It's a dog eat dog world where everyone is selfish, and Johannes wants nothing more than to do what he's supposed to do. Executing the prisoners of war has become a favorite thing to do. At first it was hard, and Johannes resisted, but after some training and a few words of wisdom from his father, he never looked back.
"They've betrayed us, son. They're the reason we're fighting this war. It's their fault, and unless you're one of them, you will do as I say!"
A soft, innocent boy lost his way that day, and now he marches in step unafraid. His father called upon him time and time again giving him the command. It's all for show, and Johannes understands, but why must it happen? Questioning never got him anywhere, and now he's fighting for what he believes in. Escaping the grip of the Capitol and finding his own way in life, but at what cost?
An innocent boy with a heart of gold turned into a man with a heart of stone, and he's willing to do whatever in order to survive. At the end of the day, Johannes wants to take his fathers place as a commanding officer to lead the rebels to victory before it's too late, and the race to achieve it against his brothers and sister makes it worth even more.
His eyes are set on the prize, but can he reach it?
The war is lost, but hope still resides inside until Johannes breathes his very last breath. Right now it's all just a new beginning, and he's ready to face it all head on.ooc: I really want to write some one-shots for developing him aye. I'm so excited :omg:
