A wish upon these nap pods, where we rest for the day. I speak in the furbish language of owo. They will know who I am. I will long around them and hug them with my warmth. They will know I am the only furb worth their time.

I fled from the fessstivitiesss to avoid the ssscreams as life fled from their lipssss. I ssslithered and knocked over a ssssearing cup of coffee on my beautiful sssscales. It burnssss. The fox, the cat, the incredibly long furby with bone handssss, and I found ssssafety at the pods. The incredibly long furby with bone handsssss sssspoke in a ssssecret language that I do not recognize. I recoil at the touch of their tail, smacking it away with my own.

"Touch me with your tail again, I'll eat you," I sssssay with bared fangs.

i remember the great furb-cat war as a kit. horrible. many lives lost. but i do not feel pain anymore. only angery. angery for my fallen felines. this furb will nap forever. "пушистый дьявол." i screech "your strange words do not frighten me. stand, beast, so i may avenge my people."

My husband still has not returned from war and I am nothing but a fair maiden standing near some open pods, wistful and crying, staring out the metaphorical window of this great life to welcome him home. Creatures garner around me but I cannot tend to them, my grief too profound.

The great furb-cat war had gone on long ago. Cats were feral beast. Disgusting felines who danced in the alleys. My peasants and I the queen tore them apart. The new furby following me now named Emily smiles as if they were my subject. A precious child. My precious child. No one will rip us apart or I will tear their skulls from their head. Now now, child,no need to worry about this feral cat.

The snake and the fox were troublesome, hating me, but that's on them. Soon they'll be my slaves. My minions of war. My knights of the roundtable. One could replace my old lancelot, love of my life. How I miss him....
