The days are blending together. Throw a dagger, swing a sword, knot a rope or bandage a hand like your life depended on it. The hours I've spent trying to learn what I can is my career without being a career. I've watched them intently, learning their movements and temperaments. I've seen them get angry and I've watched them try to hide their emotions, if they wanted to.
I'm not about to let any of them slip away without some kind of knowledge about them. Something I can use against them or if It will help me in the long run. One of those is the famous Izars that are stationed in the housing unit above my own. I stalked him the first day, but lost interest sometime after a near fight broke out between another tribute.
My mind was reeling though, curious about who he was and why his family curse is always sending them in the games.
Slipping out of my room wasn't hard. The floor was quiet to be honest and the only breathing souls that were around was just the avox's that were stationed for the needs of the occupants. I flash the one by the window a look when she makes eye contact with me. Mouthing words of a colorful language made her eyes fall upon the ground without another comment.
"Sucks to be you." I demanded the next floor of the elevator the moment the doors closed. The open view was stunning seeing how far up we were. The only perks of being a lower district, apparently.
A ding rang out and I silently cursed the timing of the evening it was and figured now everyone was on high alert especially if everyone had been asleep. I exit, stepping lightly through the main hallway and jealousy reigned as I noticed their decor was much different then what we were blessed with. I huffed as I touched one of their artifacts and straightened up the picture on the wall the avox's apparently missed. The only mission now, was to figure out which bedroom belonged to the famous Alfonso.
"Come out, come out wherever you are." The tone echoes a sleeping baby's lullaby.
