Anthem - Day Three

Despite the cannons firing in the background and the falling of allies and combatants, once again, no faces grace the sky of the Arena. This is odd; some of the tributes remember bloody clashes and heartfelt farewells all too well.

Were they hallucinating? Did they leave their allies alive, bleeding and suffering? What are the Gamemakers playing at? Is there a grand twist to all of this? Will you be kept waiting, like the tributes in the 80th Games? Questions hang in the air as the anthem fades into silence.

Congratulations on surviving Day Two!

The phantoms that joined you overnight continue to haunt your steps as you try to rest. If you hope for them to vanish as they came, you’re out of luck; and some of you wake to find not only those companions, but also animals, tagging along. Meanwhile, those of you in the Emerald Mine will hear a rising scream greet the daylight, distant but ominous.
