For the first time in three days, faces shine across the sky as the anthem plays.

Those who understand the Quell’s secret are slowly trickling out of the Catacombs, bearing the news. Those who haven’t heard are still wondering what changed. Why are there dead flashing in the sky today, when the sound of the canons seemed so final during the first days?

The sky holds no answers. What it does hold is dark clouds gathering, low and looming: a promise, in case you needed the reminder, of danger. It’s up to you, as the anthem draws to a close, to decide how to meet it.

Congratulations on surviving Day Three!

As the night progresses into dawn, the sky doesn’t seem to lighten. The storm breaks at last at midmorning; rains release from the dark clouds with overflowing fury, drenching you almost immediately if you don’t take shelter. At the same time, floodwaters from the Red Beach begin to rise, slowly making their way across the Arena until the whole surface is covered in several inches of blood red water. You are besieged on all sides by the Arena itself.
