The sixth day arrives with much fanfare on the networks, but none that you can see. In fact, as the night settles and the anthem signals the new day, things seem almost… calm.

For now, you think. For now. Faces shine in the sky as normal, and whether you’ve seen the returned for yourself, heard about them through the grapevine, or begun to put the pieces together on your own, you’re likely beginning to understand what’s going on here.

The day is a relatively clear one, and it seems as if the Gamemakers don’t have any twists and turns in store for you today.

Ha!

No. Over the horizon, you see a shadow descending from the northeast corner of the Arena. It would be natural to expect another storm, or perhaps more mirages, but as the cloud approaches you realize what it is: thousands of Bread & Butterflies, casting a shadow over the earth. Anyone who found themselves battered by thorns in the Petal Storm yesterday can probably guess what they’re fleeing; the question is whether they know where they're going.

Then again, do you?
