➸ Born in the suburbs of what is now District One

➸ Youngest of three; two much older brothers

➸ Parents are coppersmiths, having inherited the business from her mother's family.

➸ Her first memory is of picking up a glowing ember in the smithy and burning her palm. She still bears a small scar.

➸ Her parents made a decent living, known mostly for their fine wire craftmanship.

➸ As teenagers, her older brothers went to work in the mines and brought back crystals and pretty rocks for the jewelry. They rarely traded in fine gems.

➸ Cypria treasures a simple copper chain she received for her 5th birthday.

➸ Cypria started traveling with her parents around the district and slightly beyond when she was quite young, modeling their wares.

➸ During the war, their smithy was co-opted to make weapon parts. Business exploded.

➸ She began collecting porcelain dolls.

➸ Ten years ago the Soranuses moved to the city center. Her parents worked long hours and commuted to the smithy every day.

➸ When her brothers moved out, Cypria was left primarily in the care of a governess and various tutors.

➸ After the war, her parents slowly transitioned back to making jewelry. They are surviving primarily now on savings, though Cypria doesn't know this.

➸ Last year she was voted "Most Likely to Sell Your Secrets for Stone Cold Cash" by her tutoring group.

➸ For her eighteenth birthday, the family had planned to travel to the mountains for a celebration. Due to finances, they had to cancel the trip, although they told Cypria it was due to 'civil unrest'.

➸ A few days later, she was reaped for the 4th Games.
