In the center of the arena a wide patch of sand suddenly falls away as a trap door built into the wooden floorboards swings open. A dangerous animal runs up a ramp from down below, its head crowned in sunshine as light glints off the metal collar fastened around its neck...
1. Once they have entered the arena, mutts will make one attack post per OOC games day (i.e. one attack post every 24 hours).A. Mutts may make additional non-attack posts for plotting and development.
B. Mutts may make additional posts wherein mutts attack each other.
2. Mutt attack posts will contain multiple attacks and the targets of these attacks will be randomized.A. It is possible for a tribute to be attacked multiple times within a single mutt post.
B. It is possible for a tribute not to be attacked at all.
C. It is possible for recently deceased tributes to be attacked.
3. The GM will announce the number of mutt attacks per post via this thread at the start of each new round of attacks (i.e. every 24 hours). The number of attacks in a mutt post will scale each day, depending on the number of living tributes. The number of total attacks will be roughly equal to the number of living tributes, but may be higher or lower to adjust the pacing of the games.
4. An updated dice table for living tributes will be posted for each round of mutt attacks. Deceased tributes may be attacked until the dice table is updated the next day, so that the odds of being attacked each round remain completely equal.
5. In a mutt's corresponding bloodbath post, the order of attacks on tributes should be the same as the order the targets were rolled in this thread. This is to prevent questions of dice tampering.A. Corrections will be made by the GM in the event that a mutt writer makes a mistake in ordering the targets for their attacks, forgets to name a target, or makes too few or too many attacks.
6. In the event that a mutt writer is unable to post on a given day, other mutts will make those attacks in their place.
7. Tributes may request to be attacked by mutts at any point before the Final Six. These requests will be treated as bonus attacks and will not replace any of a mutt's standard attacks. This is highly encouraged for previous retro victors (and other tributes who do not wish to win) as the Final Six approaches.A. Bonus attacks should be ordered last in a post.An example of rolling for mutt targets will be posted below.
