It's not my fault that bullies decide to pick on me. I've always just tried to be myself, like my best friend tells me to, but people other than her don't seem to think that that's good enough.

I'd just left school after classes were over, thinking I was done getting picked on for the day, when one of the older girls pushed me down from behind. At first, I didn't know who'd done it, until I heard the laughter. I recognized that laugh, because the same girl laughed at me so often. This wasn't the first time she'd done something like this to me, but it usually happened in school.

Charm Jinx. She was the bully. She'd always been a bully, especially to the younger kids like me. She even tried to scare us, telling us that if we were reaped for the Hunger Games, no one would take our place because no one cared about us. Sometimes, I believed her.

I pulled myself back up to my feet and turned to face her, only to be pushed to the ground again, and tears started to form in my eyes.

"What the heck, Charm! What's wrong with you? I didn't do anything!" I choked out. I could feel it, I was going to start crying. I didn't want to cry in front of her: that would just make things worse.

Charm Jinx

Little kids were always so fun to tease. You could mess with their heads really easily- especially the twelve and thirteen year olds who were in their first couple reapings and terrified of it all. That's why I chose Nautr as a target. She was small, physically fragile and emotionally weak.

Walking up behind her as she was headed out of the school building, I pushed her to the ground and laughter erupted from my chest. She tried to pull herself back up and I pushed her back down. She complained to me and looked like she was going to start to cry.

"What, you gonna cry, kid? I always knew you were a little baby."

I saw the young girl clench her fist.

"You gonna fight me, Nautr? You think you're up to that?" I taunted. I knew that I'd whoop her ass if she tried, but I doubted she'd even try in the first place.
