Day three of this unfun adventure is here. There are bad guys everyone. The world really is dangerous. Mother wasn't wrong! Oh, how I wish I could see her smiling face once more. Maybe my only friend likes snacks? I wish I could bake for her.

Wait, where did my friend go?

HOW did he get lost? He gave the human one job! ONE JOB! Apparently she had overestimated his intelligence. He was lost somewhere, leaving Peridot vulnerable to the other humans. All she had was this primitive technology! KNIVES?!

Something bit at her thigh, and she squeaked. A new human with very very long yellow hair was standing over her. Now that was just impractical! Why didn't she cut it off?

"Don't mess with me!!!" She waved her knife around, hoping it would scare off the human.

It didn't work, so she threw it instead.

I don't even know this person. I have never seen them before in my life. Or in these three days. This is very rude, I wish they would just be nice to me. Plus, they seem to be judging my hair, and HOW DARE YOU. It's long and beautiful and I just want to enjoy it while I still can.

"I don't know you either, you hit me first!" The green lady had a point, I did hit first, but they hit back. I'm still not sure what's going on. I thought this was an adventure, not a fight, but apparently the world only longs to kill, kill, kill. I just want to go home and see mother and Pascal #1 again.

"Everyone here has been so cruel! Mother was right, the world is only dangerous."

It is I, doomed for no friends, an eternity of loneliness. Well, one more dead means one more non-friend to go. I swing my shiny stick.

I think my enthusiasm might be getting a little too much for even me. This blade seems to have a mind of its own. Kill or be killed, I guess. I wouldn't mind dying, at least it would mean and end to this suffering.

"GO AWAY, I DON'T CARE!" Even with one arm missing, this green foe seems a formidable enemy. I don't want to hurt them, but I know I must.

"I'm sorry," I whisper and swing my stick.

"THANK YOU!" They're shouting at the top of their lungs and I want to believe them, I really do. I want to stop this madness, especially as knife after knife whizzes past me. I want to cry now, but I know until one of us is dead this is not over. I try to give them a nice reassuring pat of the shiny stick.

"In another world, we may have been friends." I promise, but I can't meet their eyes, I am too tired.

The little green creature seems to be giving up. I feel for them, I want nothing more than to give them a big warm hug, but that seems to be out of the cards today. I can only end their suffering. I am trying, little creature, I am trying. One of us shall be gone soon.
