princess. those are the last words I hear as I fade into darkness, just like my hair, now turning brown instead of blonde with the cut of the unicorn's weapon.

Is that who I am? A princess of the kingdom? The realization floods into me as my eyes begin to fill with a thousand lanterns. The world fills with them, and I understand now that they are in mourning of me. I was stolen, and now I am dead.

I feel the strong arms of someone clasp mine, and suddenly I realize I am whole again. It was only a dream. I sit before Flynn and we're watching the lanterns once more. I am home, I am home, I am home!

Or perhaps this is beyond, but I don't care. I realize that the love I sought was in front of me the whole time.

"Princess," I whisper, then fling myself forward and kiss my love with as much passion as I can muster. "I am the lost princess."

Yet I am found. I feel myself, weightless. Floating away, floating far away with the rest of the lanterns.
