It's so easy for them to see something small and soft-looking and equate it to weakness. Maybe that's how you've managed to do what it is you do for so long without getting caught. Maybe its because when news goes up that a peacekeeper is in critical condition, their pride won't let them think it could be you, or any of the girls for that matter. You could never, right? That silly blue teddy-bear backpack slung over your shoulders probably just has your schoolwork or some makeup and clothes in it, right? Nothing dangerous, nothing... incriminating.

You've all learned to take the thing that society has used against you and make it work. And now, every day almost, there are less bad people in the world to hurt, or take- God, there are so many takers in the world. So many who just want and want, regardless of if its theirs to take.

You make them give it back and then some, and maybe there were better ways to go about it, but if that's true, you're open to suggestions. Until then its sitting on rooftops drinking soda, eyes peeled on the alleyways below and you're waiting, and waiting, and waiting, because eventually one of them will come and do what bad people do. And when they do, you'll be ready, trigger finger itching and the smell of gunpowder in the air.
