IVAN RIN
Trainer
Head trainer of the tributes in the Capitol for the eighty-seventh annual Hunger Games- he'd made it. Ivan had finally accomplished one of the things he had always dreamed of. He'd always wanted to meet the tributes and to have some sort of influence on them, and now he got to train them. He couldn't have asked for better. Well, except for perhaps becoming a Gamemaker in the future, but he'd see if that could happen some ways down the road.
As a trainer, Ivan, of course, had always had a passion for fighting. He also had a passion for showing other people how to fight. Whether it was their first time holding a weapon or they had been doing it for years, he always found ways to help them improve in what they were doing and whatever they wanted to practice. Sometimes, people didn't know what they wanted to practice, but he tended to be good at giving them some pointers in the right direction, at least to some extent.
The first tribute who he'd be working with as the head trainer in the Capitol was the boy from Six for the Eighty-Seventh Hunger Games. The boy's name was Flynn Garner, and he was a volunteer. He was definitely on the younger end of the tributes, as if Ivan had heard correctly, Flynn was about thirteen or fourteen years old. It was quite strange, in Ivan's opinion, that someone so young would volunteer for the Games. It was hard to be ready for such a thing at that age, but who knows, maybe this boy had some potential. There was only one way to find out.
Ivan looked at the boy for a moment before speaking to him.
"Flynn, I'm Ivan," he introduced himself. "I'm the head trainer here, and I want to see your potential."
He paused for a second. He wondered if this kid even care about what Ivan had to say to him, and then spoke again regardless.
"Do you have anything in particular you want to focus on?" He asked Flynn.
