"Is that all you got?" I spit blood onto the pavement, wiping my arm across my mouth. The fucker had a mean punch and maybe I should not be taunting him, but I was Riley Randel, daughter to the leader the Vipers and I had a tongue as sharp as a barb and an attitude that was as big as my ego. "Come on, my grandma can hit harder than your fat ass." I ball my fist, before sweeping it up into the bottom of his jaw. The impacts causes a jarring pain to spread through my fist, my wrist and down my forearm but I only smirk as he sways on his feet.

The boys mates hiss words at me before grabbing the big guy by the arm and dragging him from my view. "Thats right, run, fucker." There was an ache in my jaw and I could taste blood in my mouth. Groaning I gently cup the side of my face, tentatively testing the movement of my jaw. The pain intensifies with movement I take a seat on the rusting bench a few paces away.

The mall had been quite empty and as soon as the brawl had broken out most people had decided to look the other way, giving us as much space as we needed, but never stepping in to stop it. It hadn't mattered to them that the boy was two times my size. I had picked the fight and now it was my issue to deal with. Mum would not be pleased when new got back to her that her daughter was picking fights in such a public place such as the shopping mall.

But fuck it. I was in a fucking mood.

Mum had once against decided to send Aella out of a scouting mission along with some noob. "My daughter will not be doing basis fucking scouting missions," she had growled, shrugging on a leather jacket. "You are a leader, Riley. You will lead, not go out on scouting missions where you could very well die." Then she had marched out the door, leaving me fuming and flipping her the bird on the slamming door.

So I had picked a fight with the biggest guy I came along with, knowing that mother would hear about it.
