WELCOME TO MOUNT OLYMPUS
An untimely accident and a death that came much too soon. Malachi Crawley was much too young to die, and also much too important. His death was shocking to say the least as there was not one person in District Four who would have dared to cross him. They said it was a fishing accident, but anybody who’s anybody knows what happens down at Crawley’s ports isn’t all good fun. Who would have anything to gain from such a death? I’m sure some of the citizens of the District had their ideas, but none would dare speak out against the Crawley’s. Especially not when those who oppose them have a tendency to disappear.
Secretly, the District began placing bets on who would be the sole heir of the mass fortune that Malachi possessed. However, they were all in for a shock when the estate lawyer opened the locked box and the will was nowhere to be found. All that was inside was a small, neatly folded piece of paper and a single line.
‘The first to find my will is the one who will yield all its assets.
M.C
The crowd was stunned into silence and it was only broken when the estate lawyer nervously cleared his throat. He determined that Malachi’s three sons would split the domains equally and each of their friends that they recruited for their father would fall under their employment until a more permanent solution could be found. But there was a slight murmur of conversation through the crowd. The note did not specify a son had to find the will, which means the Crawley fortune was anyone’s to grab. Will the teams stick together in hopes to help their leader gain what truly belongs to them? Or will they revolt and greed overtake their actions?
Who will they choose?
Themselves or loyalty?
Not only will this be this be a classic gang wars plot, but it also has a twist! There is a treasure hunt for the long lost will in which 'the gods' are competing to find clues through different events. These clues will lead them to Malachi's will, as well as the fortune. Will you be selfish? Or will loyalty determine your decisions?
The Rules
1. There will be multiple events in which the participants will be able to find "clues" to help them find the hidden will. These "clues" are not so much hints to a secret location, but more of a point keeping system.
2. Each event will have at least one clue available to "find". However, some events may include hidden RE like actions that can reveal another clue. These can only be obtained through IC action.
3. Each event will have different specific rules. They will be explained in depth upon the start of the event.
4. After the close of an event I will reveal who discovered the clue privately to that person.
5. Whoever finds the clue does not have to share this information with anyone else. If their character would be selfish and want to find the will for themselves then they can keep the clue hidden.
6. The will is discovered when a team finds five clues, or when an individual finds eight clues. This is because two heads are better than one. To count clues as a team, members will have had to reveal a total of five clues. (Winning numbers are subject to change based on outcomes of events).
7. There is feuding between the gangs. This means there will be fights, this also means they can possibly end with a death.
8. There will also be some events that have multiple paths, these can also potentially end in death.
9. Please be patient with me! I have a lot of fun things planned, but some of them are slightly new mechanics and may have some hiccups.
10. This is just because I wanted an even ten rules c:
Note: Last names are placeholders to represent who is directly related, these can be changed! Ages are also open to be changed!

(Zeus) Crawley - 18 - Open
The oldest and certainly the most worthy. You are superior in everything that you do. There is no doubt in your mind that it is you who deserves the family fortune. Father practically trained you for the position, the other two were nothing more than loose ends. The estate lawyer handed the most difficult business, the antique shop. It appears simple at first, but the oddities and curios have to come from somewhere. It just so happens that the train tracks are conveniently nearby. While the shop holds many wonders, the most spectacular are kept for the more special clientele. Only you know how to handle them, which is exactly why the fortune should be yours. Maybe if you’re feeling generous the other two can have a small sliver because as they say, ‘let them eat cake’.
Hera - 18 - Open
You can’t seem to free yourself of him. No matter how many times he proves he can’t be loyal you still go back to him. He was your first love after all, and for some reason you can’t seem to forget the butterflies he caused when you first met. Time and time again you fold to his pleading and apologies. Zeus should be careful though, every women has her limits and even loyalty has its breaking point. He needs to watch how close he pushes you to the edge because you’re not afraid to jump.
Hermes - 18 - Open
A jack of all trades and master of none. You are good at a lot of things, but not quite good enough for anyone to pick you for their front lines. Instead, they see you are a neutral source, nowhere near enough to be a threat so they use you to deliver messages between the leaders. Right now your loyalty lies with Zeus, but for the right price you can be easily swayed.
(Apollo) Shields - 18 - reserved for kaitlin
A man of many talents. Your abilities to master multiple skills make you the perfect person to be Zeus’s right hand man. There would be no one better for the job, both of you know that. Hell, everyone knows it. Not only were you a master of weapons at the Career Academy, but plants, first aide, music, and even the arts came naturally. You are a force to be reckoned with and Zeus would be practically useless without you. But he needs to watch out. Eventually people grow tired of being second, even you.
(Artemis) Shields - 18 - reserved for kari
You’d follow him anywhere. He is your brother after all. But Apollo needs to watch himself because you’re more than capable of handling yourself. He might have many talents, but you’re an expert in one. At the Career Academy the bow and arrow came naturally to you, almost as easy as learning how to walk. Targets that should be near impossible to hit where met with a perfect bullseye. Your tiny size and preference for the night makes you practically invisible. It makes you dangerous, it makes you a weapon. They should all watch their backs because they’ll never see you coming.

(Poseidon) Crawley - 18 - Open
Father always trusted you with the family secrets, after all, you are the most level headed one afterall. One of the most important ones he told you was that your mother was his favorite lover, and only if she didn’t die in childbirth he would have made her his wife. To you, that meant that you were the one destined to the family fortune. You were most pleased when the estate lawyer gave you control of the ports. Father always took you fishing with him so you were most comfortable at sea. The Crawley ports were the biggest fish distributor in the whole District, but most people don’t realize the sinister things that hide in the deep. No one dares to travel too far into the warehouses, stories of strange accidents and mysterious deaths haunt the walls. But it's no accident when the very thing that killed them could be found a few feet ahead. Not only do you transport fish, but more recreational substances as well, some more harmful than others. Your brothers better watch their back because you are capable of stealing their last breath without leaving a trace.
(Demeter) Attwood - 18 - Open
Even from a young age you were excellent with plants. You constantly begged your mother to take you in the garden with her and teach you everything she knew. At first it was a hobby, but it quickly grew into an obsession. You were meticulous about everything that happened in your garden and if one thing was off it needed to be fixed immediately. Some would call you overbearing, but you believe in nothing less than perfection. As mother laid on her deathbed your promised her to keep your little sister safe. You were all but starving in the streets until Poseidon found you and offered you a job in the hidden greenhouses. Ever since you’ve taken care of the plants, some more dangerous than others. It was much less than perfect, but at least you were keeping Persphone safe.
(Persephone) Attwood - 17 - Open
A free spirit, you were never really one to follow the rules, and boy to Demeter love to create rules. At first, you were happy to be working in the greenhouses with her, learning everything that mother had taught her. It was like the two of you were keeping her alive. But then one day, Hades came to visit Poseidon and you haven’t been able to stop thinking of him since. Demeter immediately forbade it, threatening that everything the two of you had worked for would be thrown away. You agreed to stop, but nothing could keep you away. For now, secret rendezvous at night would have to do because nobody could find out about the two of you. Because if they do, there would be hell to pay.
(Athena) Fawcett - 18 - Open
With age comes maturity, and with maturity comes wisdom. And you so happen to have both. Your younger brother would happen to disagree. He had always been overly aggressive, never thinking before acting. One day it might get him killed, and truthfully you would not be that upset. The perfect warrior is one who thinks before they act. A true warrior knows their enemy and their weakness all while being a master of weapons. You have it all. Brute force might win battles, but strategy wins wars.
Hephaestus - 18 - Open
Fighting, looks, brains. None of the three were your strong suit. In fact, for the longest time it seemed as if nothing was your strong suit. Everyone had given up for you except for one, Poseidon. He gave you some tools and some blueprints and set you free in the workshop. In no time, the blueprints were history and you were brainstorming to create things that have never been imagined. You finally found your niche, and it was all because one person decided to not give up on you.

(Hades) Crawley - 18 - reserved for dars
Always the outcast of the family. Even though you are equal to your brothers they always regarded you as lesser. Even the estate lawyer seemed to view you as the “least”. He assigned you the mortuary business, the least desirable of the three. Little does he know the underground fight is where the money truly comes from. Nonetheless, it infuriates you and does nothing to help your quick temper. However you wait patiently because you know that one day their egos will come back to bite them. You will strike when they least expect it. It will be silent, swift, and hurt like hell.
Dionysus - 18 - Open
Never one to take things seriously. You’re here for a good time, not a long time right? Physical battles were never your forte, but that could be because most of the time you’re intoxicated. You were mostly an extra, but Hades happened to take you in. But the only reason you stayed is because he supplies the best booze. They shouldn’t take you for granted though. You have your way with words, and just one drop of the wrong thing in their drink can make them see things, or it can even end it all.
Aphrodite - 18 - Open
A lover not a fighter. You prefer to keep your hands clean from blood. Blades were never your weapon of choice, you’ve always preferred words. They can be much sharper and much more dangerous, especially when used by the right person. A quick bat of the eyes, a flip of the hair, a few carefully chosen words and you can have anyone falling at your feet. It’s a talent only some can possess and if you’re not careful you might have the wrong people fighting for your love.
(Ares) Fawcett - 17 - Open
You might be younger than your sister, but that doesn’t make you weaker. If anything, you could make the argument that you are superior. Even as children you always butted heads, but literally and figuratively. In all the wrestling matches you’ve had you are sure you won the majority. Athena would probably argue otherwise, but then again you two never really have gotten along. Even when it comes to picking sides, you each went your separate ways. In the end, you know you will end up on top.
Hestia - 16 - Open
Warmth. A comforting glow. That’s how most people would describe you. A shoulder to lean on, the perfect words of advice. You were never really a fighter. You volunteer to stay at the hideout mostly, preparing it with warm food and first aid supplies for when they return. You’re great at giving advice or just someone to listen. Without you they’d be living like cavemen, barely able to get by. Maybe they should remember to not take your kindness too lightly because you’re the one who keeps the home running.
