Lollie Fray
The center of attention: the star of the show. You've wanted to be like Justice your whole life. He won the Hunger Games and all you have been able to think about because of that is how much you wish you could be the next to do the same thing he did: win. You've been training as a career since you were old enough to hold a knife, hoping you'd be better than everyone else. You even wanted to be better than your own sister Etta. You love her, sure, but that doesn't mean you can't want to be better than her, right?
You've always been competitive, and you're willing to do just about anything to get the attention you crave. It can be tame, dangerous, or anywhere in between. If it's going to get you noticed, you're almost definitely willing to do it. Your attempts to get noticed aren't typically things that end up as failures, either. You actually get noticed quite a bit, which explains the plethora of friends who seem to cling to you oh so often.
Your best friends compliment you often, and it makes you feel better than anything else. Although, perhaps there are a few things that could make you feel even better, now that you think of it. If Justice complimented you and told you that you were doing well, or that he was impressed with you, that would mean the world. Other than that, of course, there's your ultimate goal of going into the Hunger Games and winning them. That is what would truly make you feel better than anything else in your life.
A lot of your time that you don't spend training, in school taking classes or at home doing homework is spent adventuring around District One and trying to do something to get noticed. One time, you climbed onto the roof of and old man's house. To be entirely honest, you were lucky you didn't fall through it, and that the old man didn't try to get you in trouble for it. You did end up getting what you wanted out of it, though. People certainly noticed you, and when you finally came down from the roof, you'd impressed a girl your age and made friends with her. Now you were closer with her than most other people in your life.
Every so often, there are times that you actually do find yourself getting in trouble for the types of trouble that you get into. There was a time where you even got into some trouble with a shop owner down in the market of the District Square. You'd stolen something small from her shop, not because you needed it and couldn't afford it, but because you wanted it and didn't feel like paying for it. The woman agreed not to report you to authorities if you returned what you stole, and you complied. Despite your desperate desire for attention, becoming a criminal or being punished by Peacekeepers is nothing like the type of attention you crave.
Your light colored hair and eyes are the typical Fray look, so no one's surprised when they hear what your family name is after they meet you. Your introductions are never met with shock or curiosity. They always assume they know who you are once they hear that you're a part of the Fray family. The thing is, you want to prove them wrong. You may be a lot like the rest of your family in some ways, sure, but the thing is, you believe that you're better than the rest of your family, too. You want the people you meet to know that you're the best Fray next to Justice.
Some people will ask you, how can someone so small and fragile like you possibly dream of being as strong and successful as Justice? How can you ever imagine that with a name like Lollie that you'll become someone that the Capitol ever ends up wanting to talk about? The thing is, you won't let yourself take their words too seriously. You know that the reality of it is that they're either underestimating you or they're scared of what they know you are actually capable of doing.
You're strong, and you know it. You may be small, you may be young, but that doesn't make you frail or pathetic. It doesn't make you worthless or incapable, either. If anything, being young and small has its advantages. Being young, you don't have a lot of the challenges that older people have to distract them distracting you. Being small, you're more quick and agile. You're not as likely to be caught if you have to run away from something, and you can hit targets of all sizes: especially the small ones, since they're not too small for you like they would be for a person that's bigger and probably older than you.
You're going to go into the Games one of these days and prove yourself. You just know it.
