Your lady from the Capitol's got a migraine, but does that stop a bitch from recapping? No ma'am. Risky Pope here to keep you up to speed and ask for the good goss!
Day 2 we asked you guys who was our biggest badass, and it's safe to say we agree it's mister Love Bellisario from District 2. As it should be! District 2's been needing some love for years, Shy delivered two years back and we in the Capitol are starving for more. Love seems to have it all: the physique, the charisma, the cunning, and I for one can't wait to see what his late game's looking at!
Now, there were some close alternates in that poll as well -- namely Areto from District 4, those two careers were neck and neck almost the whole damn time! And of course, some recognition for Reece & Mauve as well, who have been delivering some damn good action we can't wait to see more of.
Talking about #District7, let's give some attention to our Day 2 underdog, Aspen Peake, for picking up her first kill the very next day. That fight scene between the wealth alliance & the career's was intense, but in the same way Emerson died, you could've blinked and missed Chad Chapman's elimination. Respects to the boy from five, that boy was a trip we loved to watch, and hate to see go.
Note to future tributes: next time you watch a bunch of middle districts kill a girl for some wealth, take note and fuckin' run.
The rest of Day 3 came with mutts, mutts and more mutts. Thankfully we didn't lose anybody else too soon - although, Mauve may slowly be losing what sanity she brought with her. But what also came on Day 3 is a Callienta Classic: a good twist, and a helluva lot of Koala's. Right when you think it's a standard day in the arena, each and every tribute is escorted to an overnight feast, which was too damn cute.
Now, Feast's as we're used to are slowly becoming a thing of the past, the last bloodbath-style one taking place in the 81st. Julian Le Roux said it best, watching the Hunger Games like it's Housewives of District One is way more entertaining! The majority of the tributes just wanted the good rest they deserve - Thad, Robin & the Frigay duo managing to avoid all the drama.
But of course, it's Miss Mauve the Menace stirring the pot, and we love to see it. We saw it earlier in the day with her tormenting Six O'Malley, poor baby, on National Television, and she brings that same energy to the feast as she instigates some drama with Liara and even her own district partner. #ItDoTakeNerve
Talking about Nerve, you guys make sure to check out the newest Capitol sensation: Play Nerve! Hosted by myself, duh, Nerve is a reality competition show where daredevils from the districts do some crazy stunts for cash. For any Chad Chapman stans dying for more content, Play Nerve is going to be starring his boyfriend from Five, Gavin Hale! Well, do you have the Nerve? Get with it. #Sponsored.
That wraps up everything for Day 3, heading into Day 4 I'd place my bets that we're going to be seeing some serious action. 21 Tributes and less than a week to go, hold on tight because things are about to get wild. Remember: don't rule any tribute out yet!
Before we head out, the Capitol wants to know... who is our best dressed? If they weren't fighting for their lives, who would you want to see styled by legendary Marsha Mellow, Sampson Crowe or Colt Royale? This could be cute, this could be fierce, but who is our child model here! I'd have to say Julian Le Roux, of course, those Le Rouxes always know their best angles, but something about Six is just too cute to handle. Maybe a girl is getting too soft, but can't you just picture that curly red hair on the cover of Capitol Couture?
Let us know your thoughts, I'll see you all next week.
