Her dad’s had stuffed a shopping list in her hand as they continued to bicker about the floral arrangements for tonight’s New Years extravanganza. It was as if their daughter was nothing more than the help they hired, to be seen and not hired.
Adalynn would have taken offence if she didn’t enjoy shopping a little too much. An outlit for days of frustration and an award when she thought she deserved something nice. Adalynn was convinced after the work she had done during the 98th games, she deserved more than one shopping trip. With her parents card in hand, there really was nothing left stopping her from a day of fun and relaxing purchases in the capitol’s largest shopping mile.
After an hour or two, Adalynn had multiple bags hanging from her arm. I was as if they were ornaments on a christmas tree. The list was all scrambelled up in her pocket alongside various recipets that she most likely would never look at again. However a small store that sold luxury pet food, reminded her of one of her errands. Food for the varios guests wide variety of different pets. There really was no telling who would show up with what animal. Her fathers themselves collecters of the sort made sure their parties were welcome to all members of a family…just not children.
Upon exiting the store with what had to be her heaviest purchase of the day, Adalynn blindly open the door struggling to keep her body upright crashing into a total stranger.
How utterly emberassing!
“OhmygoshI’msosorry” rushed out of her mouth before she stopped dead in her tracks to see who it was in front of her and what he had alongside with him. “Oh my gosh…” her face turning slightly red with embaressment hidden under a ton of makeup. “Victor Shadow…this is is so embarissing” she sighed stepping away from the door. “Are you going in? Oh, you must let me pay for your purchase as an apology.” His pet making her even more nervouse than the obvious mistake she had made.
