Man this thread is really important and I promise I am going to fill it in, I just feel really overwhelmed right now and I really want to do it justice so I'm not going to rush through these posts just to get them done on time. Thanks for being understanding, Lalia. <3 This post will contain the following: Vinnie watching his sister in the tribute parade and working the crowd during this time. Trying to gain her sponsors and talk her up. This is kind of difficult because of her bad attitude during the reaping,b but since she comes from a career district, she at least has some sort of fighting chance. Afterwards he sneaks himself away from the stands and makes his way towards the tributes themselves. Thankfully, his face is recognizable among the crowd of peacekeepers and he has done enough favors lately to win his way in. He says he has an important sponsorship offer to talk to one of the mentors about, and the peacekeepers don't question them. (these exact words are not exactly important to the rest of the post) He approaches Cricket, but avoids his sister like the plague. Luckily she is too self-focused to care about anyone else. Begins to speak about her former games, how gallant she was. Blah blah blah. Words aren't important. Talks about how she is his favorite victor of all time and how he would just love to sponsor her tributes because obviously they have so much potential. Mentions how he would love a personal tour of her floor in the training center if that was possible because it would really give an authentic feel to his sponsorship. Keeps milking it. Eventually will get around to asking about a one-on-one with her biggest potential tribute, Beatrice. Really tries to flatter her.

Cricket is thanked again and again and Vinnie makes his departure into the night with an air of importance. He's a "busy man" after all. --- flash forward to the end of training. the last night. a knock on the door of district two's headquarters. it's unlocked of course, but politeness is key. beatrice is locked away in her room, only aware thata sponsor is visiting.

Cricket answers the door in her usual corset/underwear pretty much because that's real clothing to her what are you talking about why is this unacceptable why are you looking at me funny OH I GET IT YOU MUST JUST BE DAZZLED.
